Here his opinion about our Institute:

... as convincing performance and standing pedagogic strength the institute

„die hauslehrer“, Institute for Tuition, Education and Edu-Counselling, led by
educationalist (Diploma) Carl-Peter Dege,

has established the principle, ever recurring in the history of pedagogy and now rediscovered by the school authorities, of

  • individual support and promotion

of the person to be educated.

The institute “die hauslehrer” really takes this principle of individual support and promotion seriously concerning a successful translation into action.

Tuition (in the real sense of the word being called tuition classes) – class accompaniment – education counselling – reduction of learning blockages using pedagogic-psychological methods is situated at home where the pupil concerned lives and the tutor attends him or her in regular visits.

The spectrum with which individual support and promotion are realised holds the following range:

  • the problematic subjects of concern, as main emphasis
  • focussed support for oral and written language acquisition
  • cooperation with experts on psychology concerning dyslexia and dyskalkulia
  • help in case of disturbed or retarded development
  • body-oriented relaxation exercises
  • kinesiology exercises (movement exercises)
  • help in case of attention deficit disorders (ADHD)
  • concentration exercises
  • pedagogy of nutrition with adequate tips for nutrition
  • optimisation of the workplace
  • optimisation of work behaviour
  • listing of supportive work plans (daily, weekly plan and beyond) within the framework of the time management to be improved
  • support and improvement of motivation, hereby, help with a shift in perspectives, if necessary
  • help in changing negative attitudes and thinking patterns
  • use of special optimising programmes for the pupil's self-image
  • edu-counseling (educational advice and coaching) for parents and pupils
  • coaching for the highly talented
  • support of the parents in their contacts with teachers and school

In order to achieve success in these often difficult tasks, as well as a transparent formulation of the tuition contracts, the recruitment of teachers with outstanding abilities and inclinations is essential.
Anyone interested will soon see that the above goals of individual support and promotion are already underpinned in the formulation of the contracts.

The main requirement for entering into an ambitious individual support relationship with the pupils is the employment of capable teaching staff. The institute “die hauslehrer” solves this problem step by step:

  • pedagogically and/or psychologically qualified second headmasters, appointed by region, are not only the first contact for parents with children who need support but later become a permanent counselling authority. They also help the head office by finding more suitable teachers who under go a basic training in the pedagogy and psychology of tuition before starting the actual tuition. The teaching staff is chosen only from persons who are either teachers with a first and/or second state qualification or who hold another subject specific academic title, who have a positive certificate of conduct from the police and who have declared their independence from any kind of sect in writing.
  • In weekly supervision events conducted by the second headmasters, the teaching staff is trained, in particular, in
    • entry and promotional diagnostics such as evaluation of the learning prerequisites, efficiency and living environment of the individual pupil
    • psychology of learning – for application of effective teaching and learning techniques
    • application of recognised standards of educational theory
    • subject related didactic and methodological knowledge and capabilities
    • cooperation with medical doctors and psychologists
    • cooperation with parents and siblings of the individual pupil
    • writing of tuition reports demanded by the institute
    • encouragement for permanent further education
    • pupil centred conversation
    • Evaluation

evaluation of the learning and developmental progress of the individual pupil, including the success of the tuition and counselling measures
  • the weekly supervision events serve above all a permanent

After one year in which I had a thorough look through the teaching material and accompanied several measures of evaluation I was able to get distinct insight and to infer:

The Institute for Tuition and Edu-Counselling “die hauslehrer” – Educationalist (Diploma) Carl Peter Dege – is a reputable and very successful establishment.

Prof. Dr. Rolf P. Gieler is a counsellor for quality management and private lecturer at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. For over 10 years, he has worked in the field of quality management and helped several service companies in various sectors to achieve certification by an accredited institute. In addition, he lectures at a university and at other educational institutions and is the author of numerous publications in his field.

In the following, he presents his opinion about our institute:

... the Institute for Tuition and Edu-Counselling “die hauslehrer” – Educationalist (Diploma) Carl Peter Dege – offers professional and reputable tuition for pupils all over Germany. Its main emphasis is on individual tuition attuned to the needs of the pupil in his familiar home surroundings.

The management of the institute coordinates and controls the activities of the tutors through specialised pedagogic-psychological staff (second headmasters) within a regional framework. The well chosen tutors are allowed to teach only after undergoing thorough pedagogic and psychological training and after agreeing to meet for weekly supervision sessions with the second headmaster. This leads to a deepening of knowledge in the field of tuition pedagogy.

The institute possesses a modern system for continuous evaluation of the quality of its performance. Through the above mentioned regular supervision events, aspects regarding the continuous improvement of service are taken into particular account.

This meets the requirements of the international norm for quality management DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 which focuses on the requirements of customers and their satisfaction. The outstanding organisation of the institute “die hauslehrer”, in combination with the expertise of the staff employed and their pedagogic training, are prerequisites for optimum help and support, even with problematic pupils.
